About the role

It is fantastic that you would like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As an Outreach volunteer you will be assisting outreach workers to support Romanes or Romanian speaking clients face-to-face or over the phone. Other tasks involved in this role will include helping clients access support around immigration, employment, reconnections, and accommodation, to have a good understanding of the Roma communities and have knowledge of the UK EUSS requirements while understanding the rights clients have with pre settled and settled status. For this role it is required that you can speak Romanes or Romanian fluently or to a high level.

Please see all locations and the time commitments we are currently recruiting for in this role:

  • London- Monday-Friday, between 9:30am-5pm, 4-15 hours per week/ 1-2 days per week.
