About the role

It is fantastic that you would like to find out more about volunteering at St Mungo’s. As an Involvement and Engagement Volunteer, you will be ensuring our clients are actively and meaningfully involved in their local service. Involving clients not only makes our services better and more sustainable but also helps the individuals develop new skills and gain confidence. You will need to be able to build good relationship and rapport with clients, feel confident leading group activities with support from staff, and to motivate and encourage client engagement and involvement with activities or feedback sessions.

Please see all locations and the time commitments we are currently recruiting for in this role:

  • Camden- Between Monday- Friday, the team can be flexible but ideally 2 days per week, 10am-3pm.

 

The attached role description will give you more information on the type of tasks you will be undertaking in this role as well as the support you will get from us in return.

Please note you will need to be flexible and able to move between different services all in Camden (travel can be reimbursed). We particularly welcome applicants with experience of working in the mental health field, and who have an understanding of neurodiversity.
